Tall Grass Ventures is seeking a Platform Associate Intern to join our team. This is deemed a remote position.  

This position will have an active role in enhancing the Tall Grass Platform and support in the expansion of our post investment support for portfolio companies. This will include resource development, marketing support, relationship management, brand building and more. This role will report to the Director of Platform and will engage cross functionally across the entire firm through investments, research, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support management of existing platform tools & initiatives (Slack, Airtable) and explore methods of enhancing engagement.
• Maintain and contribute to the quality of content & resources within a centralized platform for founders of our portfolio companies.
• Identify new opportunities to proactively develop and promote platform value-add offerings for our portfolio companies.
• Build and maintain a network of vendors and collaborators to support our portfolio companies, including service providers, partnerships, specialized agencies, and more.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on ways to improve firm and platform strategy.
• Support on execution of a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with Tall Grass Venture's community-building objectives.

Qualifications:

As an emerging fund manager, it’s important to note that we move very fast! As our firm and internal operations evolve, other responsibilities are sure to emerge. We are keen to expand our team with someone who can excel independently and possesses a strong entrepreneurial drive to take on new challenges with curiosity and enthusiasm.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong written, verbal, analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to collaborate with others.
• A generalist mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously and with varying scope.
• Passion/interest for agriculture and food and venture capital.
• Eager to learn and grow as an early member of a growing venture capital firm's Platform Team.

Term: This internship would be for May through August 2025, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week.
